Solution rgfeher Posted February 24, 2014 Author Solution Share Posted February 24, 2014 Well, I got it straightened out For anyone that has this problem with IE, here's what to do Internet Options/Security(with Internet tab highlighted)/Custom Level /Change Display mixed content from prompt to enable (about half way down the list)

Dan_Park
So we tracked down at least one cause of the mixed content. I was one of the offenders, I had a link in my signature to an external http:// site for an image in my signature. This is caused by inserting images using a URL in the post editor. Uploaded images do not cause this problem. Brian is looking for a configuration option to turn off the ability to add external images. You will still be able to upload them by attaching them to a post. If you don't allow mixed content you may see some missing images.
