MULLED UNIT

Why can I not get these units to mull together? They will mull 3 across but I can't mull the top units to the bottom units. Its not an option in the task bar to mull them together when the top units are selected with the bottom units.

Thanks.

It is a one story with vaulted ceiling. I moved the wall so that the top windows were not part of the attic wall (so they were all in "one" wall) it didn't make a difference.  i tried moving all the windows to be at floor height so they were again, all in 'one' wall...didn't work either.   does it have something to do with they are the Marvin Window blocks?

Make sure that all 3 bottom windows have the same top and bottom heights and same elevation reference.  You should be able to mull the 3 of them together.

Make sure that all 3 top windows have the same bottom heights and are in the same wall as the bottom windows (not in the attic wall).  You should be able to mull the 3 of them together.

Now you should be able to mull the top mulled unit with the bottom mulled unit making a "nested" mulled unit.

I this still doesn't work, post your plan.

Gene is correct. You have the windows on 2 different floors. Even if it doesn't look like it in elevation. In your plan view you have the upper windows on the Attic Level. Cut and paste the windows down to floor 1 and you'll be able to mull them properly.

Ok. So i cut and pasted them (which it didn't want/like to do) instead of moving them and then it worked. This is something that needs to be changed in the program. We shouldn't have to do that.

thank you for the help.

I disagree.  There are definitely times when I want to show windows on a floor level where the window may not necessarily occupy that space in elevation.  Creating that window or door in the selected level does that.  My two cents.
