winterdd
Is there ANYTHING else in the library for board & batten besides what we all have, CA board & batten and James Hardie products. Hardie B&B is too close together and looks like metal and CA B&B just doesn't stand out as well in renderings. See below, one is my file and the other is my same file I threw into chatgpt. The battens are way better in chatgpt and more appealing to send clients. Not a big deal though, just asking. I love CA, don't get the wrong idea. Renerabbitt
Are you on X18? use the new cladding features and add any type of board and batten that pleases you
Mark3D
Have you looked at the new feature in x18
Rpadge
If your not on 18, you could use a wall material region to create battens. I beleive if you do a search there a couple of posts on here about it.

Rookie65
Maybe look at the Certainteed bonus catalog and the vertical siding
joey_martin
If not on X18 then I like to use a material region. You create a batten and then multi copy it down the length of the wall. It will cut itself around openings and gables. It's pretty easy to do. You can also add a "framing" layer to the exterior and have it "frame" the battens, though I didn't have good luck with that method.
