Hi All

I’m working on a house plan and could use some help with CAD details.

I see several Roof Eave Detail options, but I’m not sure how to determine which one is the correct choice. I can easily tell which ones I don’t need, but I’m looking for guidance on selecting the right detail.

I’m also wondering if there’s a standard wall section detail available, similar to the sample I’ve attached.

This is my first time creating a full-scale house plan with complete CAD details, so any advice or best-practice recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

A CAD detail is meant to convey to the reader how you're instructing that the subject matter is to be built. You don't "choose the correct one" unless it matches exactly how you want it constructed. Otherwise, you start with a camera view, or one of the supplied details that is close, and modify it to your specifications.
