btw, My grandfather was a Blacksmith and Buggy maker in Ft Wayne (1895-1935)

Just for those who are interested in what the building code is in Ontario, Canada's most populous province, here are reference copies of the Ontario Building Code.

The Ontario Building Code is based upon the Canadian National Building Code, with additions and modifications specific to the province.

Volume 2 is additional clarification and prescribed solutions to the code as well as climatic and seismic data.

Yes Sir. Until 2020 we we're still using the 2013 IRC and 2015 IBC. I believe the 2020 Indiana Residential Code was the first year we actually referenced a State code for residential construction.

Virigina Seems to be on a 3 year code cycle upgrade
