"Ceiling Beam" To Follow Roof Pitch?

Thanks Joe, these 'beams' will be faux beams that will occur below the roof framing and T & G ceiling surface. Can't see how to use a rafter?

I guess it depends on which way you want them to follow the pitch?

Roof Beams will inherently follow the slope up, and generate underneath a sloped ceiling, but if you're going sideways, most framing won't rotate to match the angle.

Looks like Soffits will work great as they follow the roof. Is there a way to change the line style from the default dashed line?

Just move the special sized rafter down the thickness of the roof plane.  You can put them on another layer and use different materials.

I'd just move that Soffit to the Beam layer so it'll look like the beam it's pretending to be.

Just in case you have other soffits around.
