Doug_N
I know this has come up before somewhere, but for the life of me, searches don't seem to find the topic. When a window mimics the roof pitch (can be done in the window DBX) you get a window with a top slope mimicking the roof slope. So far so good. Not so much for doors. Because the door is made of a door symbol and a door frame assembly the door frame can get adjusted but not the door itself. The door ends up sticking out through the sloping part of the frame and ends up exposed, sometimes over the roof. (This is particularly true of doors under stairs) Does anyone know how to actually make a door that slopes like the frame?
JacobB
Use a parametric door type or custom symbol.
Chrisb222
Only works if you use one of the parametric door styles, not a library symbol.

Any style option in the door dbx other than "Library" or Default if you have that set to use a Library door.
Solution Chrisb222 Posted November 28, 2022 Solution Share Posted November 28, 2022 8 minutes ago, Doug_N said: Parametric door styles??? Where can I find those? Not much to choose from: There was a suggestion recently asking for more control of parametric doors. You can "fake" a center bar(s) using a glass panel style, setting the number of lites, and making the glass panes a solid material, but it's very limited:

I bet you could create even more door styles using custom muntins for your stiles and rails.
