Dimension Point Markers

Is there a way to turn off Dimension Point Markers as the Muddy the View in Cad Details.

Why do you have "point markers" in Cad Details. Just use end/end dimensions. Point to point dimensions should only be used as a last resort.

No , the dims needs something to snap too , that's why it there but you can make it very small like 1/8th radius.... (.125)

will make them almost invisible , but you can go even smaller too if needed.

You can also go into the Line Style tab of the point marker DBX and set the line to None, but you have to do it for each individual marker.

 

If only one needs turned off this can be useful but if you want to turn off a lot of them, use another type of dimensioning method.

Another way is to use the Object Painter tool.

Select one of the dimension markers (make sure you get the marker and not the dimension line - the status bar will tell you what object is being selected).

Change it Radius to zero.

Select the Object Painter tool and then Object Eyedropper.

Select the marker you just changed to zero height (once again, make sure you get the marker - you can still select it even though it has zero size).

Using the Object Painter in Object Mode, you can click on only the markers you want to hide.

 

A bit fiddly, but gets the job done.
