Aligning vertical b and b siding from floor to floor?

I am drawing a 3 story structure with vertical board and batten siding. The boards do not line up vertically between floors. What can I do to fix this?

BTW, this is a round, silo-like structure...

Use material regions. It will probably end up being faster then constantly editing the material patterns.

Try ....Define Material dbx>Pattern>Offset and Angle>Global Symbol Mapping

If that doesn't work, you may have to make copies of the material (one for each floor) and change the horizontal offset for each floor.

You might also try using a WALL TYPE that has a layer of 2x1 framing on the outside.  It will actually add a level of realism.
