4hotshoez
Just starting to draw some details in Chief when I noticed that Cad line that share the same point become one polyline whether I want them to or not. How do I break them into two with out deleting and redrawing? This was an issue when I added an exterior door where I have 12" base trim around the house. I needed to break the trim at the door. I assume the problems have similar solutions. Help and videos were not help.
Joe_Carrick
You can use the Trim Tool and then change one of the lines to either a different layer, color or line weight. When then joined they will not become one.
Richard_Morrison
Todd, After putting the breaks in, you need to make friends with the "Edit Object Parts" icon.

HumbleChief
I just double click one of the lines and change its weight to something different - they won't join then.
