It shows it attached i want the wall in the box to frame as one wall from left to right when i touch the wall and hit the framing button and then look at the elevation it shows the left wall seperate from the right wall framing 933-Fluharty Addition.dwg

joey_martin
What he is talking about is when he selects the wall detail for that interior wall, he wants it to include the part of the exterior wall that is attached to it. Chief won't do that as they are different walls. It could be done I suppose. Use one single wall type over the entire plan and add the veneers using a material region, then manually do the foundation and roof. Too much work for me. DzinEye
In your layout crop your layout box for each framing wall and put both walls side-by-side next to each other so it looks like one.
Alaskan_Son
When I need to do things like I simply open both walls, check Retain Framing, open Wall Detail 1, Select All, Cut, open Wall Detail 2, Paste Hold Position, and manually adjust framing as necessary.
