Polyline labels with transparent background?

Hello All,

 

I want my labels to have a transparent background as opposed to the white box around the text.

Is this possible?

 

In the image, the lot numbers have a white box around them. I would like the numbers to have a transparent background.

Found this, if your labels are generated by the poly line label dbx.

Is there a way to make a "text label" only a certain % of transparent background?

 

I am trying to utilize the "text label" within the fixtures so it shows the fixture size when it changes size etc. I used to just use a text box and was able to set the transparency of the background colour, but it doesn't seem to be an option for "text labels"?

 

Fixture "text label" background solid

 

Fixture "text label" background transparent (100% default?)

 

No "text label" only a "text box", with setting the background to transparent 15%

Nope, it's all or nothing with the automatic labels.  You could manually place your own text boxes but that hardly seems worth it just to get some partial transparency.
