El_Payaso
When I import a sketchup file I made from the manufacturer of a window it ends up outside the envelope of the wall. Any ideas on how to align this better with the wall?
DRAWZILLA
I think you need to change an option for the symbol to insert into wall
El_Payaso
Ah I see that but it is greyed out.
MarkMc
How about just altering a Chief window to match the specs?
El_Payaso
Yeah that's what I'm resigned to at this point. Best to use frame dims (from the manufacturer) right? Not rough opening dims?

RO after the fact according to mfg specs, has no effect on the window size, only framing.

Hi Rene, love your videos. I also wish I could quickly import my custom windows. I got them to display correctly in 3D but in 2D (plan view) they are represented outside of the wall. Any solutions?
