Have plumbing appear on slab foundation

Is there a way to get the plumbing fixtures to appear on the <0> Level or slab foundation? My plumber likes me to give him rough-in dimensions and not on the floor plan, sheet <1>. Not the Reference Floor Display either.

REFERENCE LAYER SET'S ARE THE ONLY WAY OTHER THAN COPYING A CAD BLOCK TO THE  FOUNDATION PLAN

Place a toilet fixture in blank plan and make cad detail from view. remove most of the lines. Change lines to gray dashed. select and block then add to your lib. for your future use.

On foundation level turn on reference set. Place toilet cad block from lib. and center over the toilet in the reference set. Turn off reference set and add dim.

OR

Just use the reference set

Because the location of some of the fixtures do not show up and I need to precisely bulls eye the plumbing penetrations on the slab. It cost a lot of money to move a toilet over a few inches. The floor reference doesn't do that. I will look into William's suggestion.

Reference sets do it for me, automatically

I use reference sets.

Facing the toilet the dim. tool will find the center left or right. The other direction the dim. tool will not find the rough in point, you will have to dim. that by hand, typ.12.5" from framing or whatever the manufacturer specifies. Let your plumber be responsible for that dimension.

you can draw your centerlines on the floor plan ,then just cut and paste on the foundation

Or put dimensions on same layer as toilet and then they too will show on fndtn plan.

I'm going to study using the Floor Reference. None of my Sinks appear on the reference. The Tubs and Toilets do. How do I get the sinks appear?

Just turn on that layer in the reference set you are using. if you want sinks automatically, you have to turn on the cabinet layer.

Reference layers can be a bit confusing at first but they are very useful in a lot cases, your case being one the most useful. Stick with it you'll get it figured out.

OK... I have one toilet appearing on the reference layer, another is not. I opened both's Fixture Specification DBX from the Floor <1> and they are both on the "Fixtures, Interior" layer. Wassup?

I worked around that. I just deleted the one that wasn't showing up, then copied the one that was to that location. Walla.
