  1. Thanks all. Yes Maureen, the windows and door have the same head height. I think it's a bug. I'll send it in to tech. Barb
  2. Anyone have any ideas on why this happens when I block this door with the sidelite windows?? Thanks for looking. Barb Weston existing.zip
  3. What Larry says. Be sure your printer is set to 100%, not "fit to page"
  4. I believe it's because you don't have a ceiling...either flat or sloped. Once I put the ceiling in, the truss generates. It might be helpful if you had a picture of what shape of truss you're trying to build. Barb
  5. Same for me here also...You can't even do it in the transform/replicate tool.
  6. I agree with Larry. Advise, advise, then give them what they want. I always tell my clients that it's not about what works for ME, it's about what works for THEM. Their house, their decision.
  7. Sometimes you can't save people from themselves!
  8. I think you'll find it in "roofing", metal, standing seam. You can scale the pattern & texture however you want.
  9. I get it also. It took a while to find it the first time because I have my windows taskbar set vertically on on left, and the library was hiding behind it.
  10. After the comments about the door & window schedules being off, I went thru mine. I have a shower door set in a railing wall (because the walls are 84 inches tall). Door shows up in the schedule, but there is no label on the floor plan. All the settings are correct, auto label etc., and the other doors are all ok. When I change the railing wall to a normal wall, presto! the label shows up. I know I can just lower the wall height in elevation and put a cap on it, but a railing wall is less work. I think the label should show up - yes? I need a vacation!
  11. Larry- you're not being a pain at all! I haven't tried this in X6 yet, but it's been a constant battle in X5. I do exactly what you're describing, and they get messed up every time. sometimes I just give up. this last project it was more important, so I spent time to make a p-solid. only problem then was it didn't show up correctly in 2d. So, I'll ask the same question: If we alter a truss in the truss detail and lock the envelope, why doesn't it stick??? Thanks for posting Larry. Barb
  12. I did this barn style house last year. All materials adjusted within Chief.
