  1. This is excellent and much easier than a third party 3D viewer. I installed an HTML Widget and pasted the code. It worked perfectly. Great job The web site is HERE, look at the VR page.
  2. Does anyone know how to change the orientation of the starting view in the 360 Pano? In other words, when the Pano opens I'd it to point towards the kitchen and not the Breakfast Nook. I tried using a North Pointer in Cad, but it didn't have any affect.
  3. I haven't tried that, but it should work. It's just a Ray Trace. 270º could be blank andscape unless you have several buildings
  4. I was able to embed to 360º Pano into my web site. I didn't have a web site before this. this is my first attempt. I created it this morning. Let me know your thoughts. The Phone version is not ready yet. HERE it is.
  5. I figured it out. Under layer Style, there is a new Option for Groups. One of them is Front
  6. In previous versions, when I imported a .PDF, I made it a new Layer. While creating the new Layer there were options to "Move to Front Group". This allowed items like windows and doors on the .PDF to show on top of CA walls. I don't see that option in CA9. I can't see the windows & doors Can anyone help?
  7. Here's one of my Panos. https://accounts.chiefarchitect.com/360/033119244821724
  8. Thanks David One more question; Has anyone had trouble viewing the 360 on an iPhone 6?
  9. I bought a 3D VR Viewer - VR Shinecom. It works well with the CA cardboard VR viewer setting and my iPhone 5S. One question: 1. Does anyone know a way to go full screen while in cardboard viewer mode? I can see the Safari controls for web pages at the bottom and the top tool bar showing the web address. When I triple tap with three finger and go full screen, the viewer doesn't work properly , 3D is not right
  10. I was able to take a camera view and get the pano to work. Share also worked. How do you create a pano from a Ray Trace?
  11. I'm ready to install version 9 of CA Premier. I just spent 2 1/2 days on a drawing using CA 8. I'm meeting the owner tomorrow, and I'm sure some changes will occur. I was going to install CA 9 after the changes are made and approved, but changes could occur next week again. Is there anything I should be aware of for the installation and migration? Should I wait? I'm using a Mac.
  12. Try This: In CA 1. Turn off Reference Grid if it's on > View > Reference Grid 2. File > Export > Export Picture 3. Resolution = 600 > OK 4. At the bottom select PNG Files (*.PNG) 5. Save
  13. 1. In CA, Print to .PDF 2. Open in Photoshop 3. PS will convert it to raster, 300 PPI (DPI) is high enough 4. File > Save for Web & Devices 5. Message about file size > YES 6. Preset > PNG-24 7. Check or uncheck Transparency, this is the background 8. Image Size > Input the size you want 9. Metadata > Copyright 10. Convert to sRGB > Check 11. Quality > Bicubic Sharper 12. Save You now have a .PNG image
  14. Print to PDF and make sure your PDF Printer is using Vector images. .Tif, jpeg, .bmp are raster based images using pixels. Vector uses solid lines, not pixels
  15. It ends up that my 2009 Mac Pro 4.1 is not compatible with Sierra. I wonder if CA X9 will rewire Sierra?
  16. Like the title states, I'm using the latest version of CA.
