  1. I tried that, but it became confusing because of the building set at "0" on the lower elevation. The drawing shows two buildings. It's always been difficult for me to establish the correct height of the Terrain vs the building height which is usually "0"
  2. Building Height and Terrain Height use two different reference points as "0". Read This
  3. Terrain has always been a little confusing to me. See if this helps. I selected the foundation floor area and changed the heights. Then I selected the first floor area & change heights again. 49 Foreshore Drive Salamander Bay – Version 3.plan
  4. I was at work with an Amish framing crew. I pulled out my phone and showed them a 360º Pano of the same house they just finished framing. I had a hard time getting my phone back. Their reaction was comical, each one wanted to hold the phone and view the 360. We were standing in the house at the same location the Pano was created from. It showed a finished house with a kitchen, furniture, flooring and lighting. Saying they were amazed is a understatement. I left them astonished, shocked and bewildered. Showing the 360º to the average person is one thing, showing it to the Amish left them perplexed.

  8. On a Mac you usually don't uninstall an Application. Simply move it to the Trash.

Log into CA web site > My Account > Manage Your 360º Panoramas > Share > Embed > Copy > In your web site, insert a HTML Widget, Paste the Embedded Code For Clients, you can use the Share > Email or Direct Link options Look at the VR section of my web site, it uses the HTML Widget. www.irwin3d.com
  10. Try this: From the Desktop > top Tool Bar > Go > Applications > find all your versions of CA. If CA9 is there, drag it to the Dock.
  11. HERE'S A FIX if you have a Trackpad: Click Apple symbol in upper left corner System Preferences > Accessibility > find Mouse & Trackpad > Trackpad Options > Uncheck Scrolling> OK. Two finger scrolling will be disabled but CA Scroll Bars will work.
  12. I have Windows on a separate internal Hard Drive. I have an older Mac Pro with four internal HD's. You could install it to an external Hard Drive.
  13. Looks like this was fixed in the latest update: Fixed a problem that caused Auto Dormer walls to partially extend through the ceiling below.
  14. I use QuicksBooks on my Mac Pro via Windows and Bootcamp. You could also use Windows via Parallels

  17. I have an Apple Mac Pro (4.1) tower from 2009. I wondering if it's time to upgrade. 3D views appear in about 1 sec., Ray Trace sometimes take an hour for 10 passes but the drawings are large.   18. That's my experience also. The new embedded viewer by CA fixes it and works very well in my web site.
  19. I knew it had to do with the exterior wall layers, but I wasn't sure which ones to move up. Select exterior wall > Wall types > Define, Look at your Layers
  20. I've tried with no success. The experts here will figure it out tomorrow I'm sure.
  21. The new embedded file fixed that problem. It was caused by the third party viewer.
