CA X9 19.1.0.47 - Maybe I missed something...
Electromen replied to contractcad's topic in General Q & A
On a Mac you usually don't uninstall an Application. Simply move it to the Trash. -
Log into CA web site > My Account > Manage Your 360º Panoramas > Share > Embed > Copy > In your web site, insert a HTML Widget, Paste the Embedded Code For Clients, you can use the Share > Email or Direct Link options Look at the VR section of my web site, it uses the HTML Widget. www.irwin3d.com

CA X9 19.1.0.47 - Maybe I missed something...

Try this: From the Desktop > top Tool Bar > Go > Applications > find all your versions of CA. If CA9 is there, drag it to the Dock. -
HERE'S A FIX if you have a Trackpad: Click Apple symbol in upper left corner System Preferences > Accessibility > find Mouse & Trackpad > Trackpad Options > Uncheck Scrolling> OK. Two finger scrolling will be disabled but CA Scroll Bars will work.

I have Windows on a separate internal Hard Drive. I have an older Mac Pro with four internal HD's. You could install it to an external Hard Drive.

Looks like this was fixed in the latest update: Fixed a problem that caused Auto Dormer walls to partially extend through the ceiling below.
-
I use QuicksBooks on my Mac Pro via Windows and Bootcamp. You could also use Windows via Parallels

It would be nice to have a standard Ray Trace so that we could compare our computers.

HERE are some Mac Benchmarks, also look at the multi core results

That's my experience also. The new embedded viewer by CA fixes it and works very well in my web site.

I knew it had to do with the exterior wall layers, but I wasn't sure which ones to move up. Select exterior wall > Wall types > Define, Look at your Layers

I've tried with no success. The experts here will figure it out tomorrow I'm sure.

This is excellent and much easier than a third party 3D viewer. I installed an HTML Widget and pasted the code. It worked perfectly. Great job The web site is HERE, look at the VR page.

Does anyone know how to change the orientation of the starting view in the 360 Pano? In other words, when the Pano opens I'd it to point towards the kitchen and not the Breakfast Nook. I tried using a North Pointer in Cad, but it didn't have any affect.

I haven't tried that, but it should work. It's just a Ray Trace. 270º could be blank andscape unless you have several buildings
