Or in the Default Window before placing them or in your Template if you always use the same Manufacturer. And it shows up in Layout only if you send the Window Schedule to Layout, same as the Door and other Schedules... I personally prefer to do that from a Schedule in a Cad Detail, rather than Plan View. M.

as an aside to this issue.....Make the Plotter your default Printer ( or a PDF Printer ) and delete Microsoft XPS ...at least I am not aware of anyone who uses it or the M$ PDf Printer for that matter.... CP>Hardware and Sound>Devices and Printers> Printers , right click (RC) and make one the Default instead of M$ XPS > RC M$ XPS and delete/remove M.

I would advise you to call Sales and get something in writing ( email confirmation) of what is discussed..... I believe going forward you would need to pay the annual subscription currently of $2000 .... It's all about the Video Card with Chief and why they suggest a 4GB Nvidia or AMD Graphics card ( 2GB minimum ) as Chief has always had various Issues with Intel Graphics cards over the years, and there is currently a Known Incompatibility with Intel Arc GPUs for example and previous Intel Xe / Iris cards as well, which maybe your Issue if only running X12. I was just pointing out, in case Kathy is not aware that the SSA Model is no longer available, even to those with existing SSA Licenses. My client has fully switched to X15, so I don't have info on whether they can Install Versions Older than the Version the License was Purchased with as well. M.

AFAIK that function is Automatic and can't be disabled , but perhaps if you save a Single switch to your Library as a new symbol as another non Electrical Symbol ( interior fixture perhaps ) it may allow what you want, but may have some side effects such as Auto Wire connections not working. M.

I think there was a fix for Mirrors in the last update? and you can see the LED, if you turn off Reflections in the Camera Settings, it seems to be work here with Reflections OFF anyway so it might need to goto support for a Fix ? On....... Off....... Mick.

Depending on your Version there is now a Setting in the Railing Wall that lets you "offset from Wall" now. Mick.

As TT said they can be moved around once the Toolbars are unlocked, it is best NOT to try and drag it to the very bottom/end though, or they tend to disappear as he said, best to drop the Icon between the last two and then drag the bottom/end one up/back one.... The Structure TAB CS is NOT a true representation of the actual Model , it is used to Reference Heights only as a general rule, it is best to cut your own Back clipped Section through the Foundation Wall , which I think you have done.... M.

I'm not a Mac Person but some of my clients are, have you check the Mouse Settings under "System" . I think it was? also I think it was the Magic Mouse for 1 client that had the 2nd button disabled in settings, he didn't even know the mouse had 2 buttons if you use scrollbars in Chief you will also need to enable them in Settings as well , then enable in Chief too. There is a Materials - Wire And Lattice Bonus Library , which has Chainlink which might work? I know it is use for the Net on a Soccer Goal in another Library too. M.

A number of my Clients use Canvas and their Lidar equipped iPads, and it can be a relatively good deal, though there are a couple of caveats , one being Canvas's "converter" still only uses X12 for Chief Plans, and they tend to use numerous Solids for objects, I am not sure if that is due to the nature of how Canvas works or if it is just the Chief User doing the Model's, lack of Chief training/Knowledge? the Canvas Measurement Report (CMR) PDF is what I get clients to order usually for smaller jobs ( a bathroom for eg ) as it is quicker for me to Draw the 4 Walls and auto add a Roof and Foundation in a X15 template than it is to "fix" the Canvas Chief Plan in a lot of cases. *I am not sure Canvas is a "Cloud Point Data App or System" like some others on the Market like NavVis or Matterport though. For PBR always add a Roof Or Floor above and a quick auto Foundation, as you may see it shining from under Cabinets and furniture too. M.

Use A molding line Placed in Plan view then adjust height as need , if you want to use it again, in 3D select the Molding and Hood and make a new symbol which will be saved in your Library. M.
