Though I would post my Autocad LIN file if anyone wants to try them. CAB2.lin

Thanks fella's, that was it. Got me again. I keep forgetting about that layer.
-
Does anyone know what layer the vertical lines outside of the door is? The walls are 2" wide, toilet stall walls. Door.plan
-
Never would have guessed that one. Thanks When are we going to be able to edit the pull-down list?
-
So where did the Strip Hatch go? It's Not the dbx pull down.

My wife's uncle is in s similar predicament. But he stays at our house when he comes to town for treatments. I find work therapeutic most of the time but deadlines can be too stressful. Manage your workload.
-
Hope you have a good outcome Ray.
-
OH, that was way too easy! Thanks, Glenn

I thought I had seen this done in the past but can not locate the thread. Could someone point me in the direction?
-
Good tips Michael. I like the line type approach, you always surprise me with your solutions. Thanks
-
I'll send a feature request. BTW I have about 10 similar blocks. Thanks

I'm trying to turn off a layer "ADA Door Swing" of objects within a block but can't seem to get it done. Is this a setting or a limitation? The block ignores the layer state. Block Layer Test.plan

I changed all railing materials to glass & no joy. Looking at it in Standard View the rail is not visible, just the vector view it shows up. Oh BTW I added sun shades.

Well salesman said one thing but the MFG had more options. When I turn the moldings off you can see the floor of the 3rd floor in the window glass. If that was gone I could put the frame anywhere and not mess with the floor height. See below what is there from the floor structure. Perhaps a change in wall structure or a change in room floor structure would eliminate the horizontal member shown.

Just an update, we can place a special order for 13' tall glass panels, so we are back to the tall panels. This is what started some of the issues. The glass wall definitions I used on the exterior of the 2nd & 3rd floors leaves a visible (not same as glass) object at the floor level. Tech support is looking into the problem(s).
-
Well, just got a call from the glass mgf & 10' is the tallest glass they cay make that meets the wind load requirements. So, lowering the floor "open to below' back to 10' fixed almost of the issues in that area. I',m sending to tech support for the remaining problem. Thanks for your efforts.
-
Wow, may be time to get tech support involved. It shouldn't be that difficult, should it? Thank you for all your efforts.

OK new file https://www.dropbox.com/s/va3urb7evrso9k0/Untitled 3.zip?dl=0 Give it a minute as it is still uploading. Sorry about that. I also saved the cameras.
-
Oh I was working on the framing as we speak. The first floor got shorter by 26" so I just finished moving farming back in place & reframed the relevant walls. I did not think framing was an issue in this case. I can upload the new file.
-
Sorry No See attached. Place cameras on 3rd floor. Upper camera will need to be moved down a bit to reveal the issues.
-
The hole thing started because my floor to floor, all glass, left a horizontal dark spot on the glass which I covered with a psoid but was too low for the real world. So I raised the floor.

Yes, Alan Butler AKA Charles Alan Butler. My father was Charles, My uncle was Charles & my cousin was a Charles. What were our parents thinking?
-
Thanks Steve I'll give that a try

Just found more issues with walls in that area. I did have to raise the "open to above" room floor to get the exterior horizontal element on the glass wall to be at 13' above the floor so I could place a psolid over it to look like a window frame. This messed up only some of the railings.

How do you get the roof drip edge to display on the fascia in elevation view automatically? I have been drawing a CAD line. On parapet walls, I suppose a thick cap and reduce the wall height to account for the cap But fascia's illude me.
