Hi Mick, Ca is getting there slowly but surely, The componets are great now only wonder if the can do this for every thing that is the question! I have played a bit with the walls and i can pullout quite a bit of info from the wall areas eg sand, cement, wall ties, flashing etc The component list in the dilog box is so good you can add anything you need. Hopefully it will be all complete when we come out of Beta. Maybe a good video with a few macros would be nice.

Like to share some material I`ve recently made. I have a sample renders i have done, not with CA. Maps included in zip file,basecolour, displacement, metallic, normal and roughness. How do I create a pattern file? Be nice if we could insert a map so it could match up perfectly without having to adjust anything. See material attached I don't see any .pat file to look anything like this material. Also tried to create a .pat file in PS but no luck. I see pat files in PS though cannot export them to use in CA. brick_paving_stones_decorative_001.calibz

I need to build our cabinets with a 30mm space under with the doors down over the cabinet by 30mm. I can achieve the 30 blank space under the cabinet, the only problem is how to get the doors to extend down.

Thanks, Yes I know how to do in Orth view though it would be great in plan view See image attached, I place the pattern though would be great to add the texture.

Gerry, Joe`s macros also allocates a component list for all the members in the individual walls. I had given these lists to our carpenters and they love it because they can cut their frames quickly with great accuracy. Also great for ordering material

I cannot believe how long its been and still no video on how the new material list works. Please CA we need some sort of documentation or a video to explain the basic fundamentals on how to set up the new improved ML

Thanks for looking at the model. I don't understand I have a good video card, I find it very slow in elevation. We have sent the model to CA and they don't see any issues with it. Appart from Perry we all find it slow and sluggish in elevation.

Cannot dimension in section elevation views. The cursor goes weird on the elevation view trying to drag a dimension.

Trying to place draws in behind the pantry door. Actually, wire baskets draws. I know the cabinets tool have a few improvements, cannot find anywhere. I have looked in Rev-A-Shelf.

CA has a timer to view time spent on drawing and it states two hours.
