  1. Under the room specification, make both mono slab foundation. Then both floors are the same and fixes the issue. Ken
  2. Todd, Try dropbox 1st. If it is fast enough, run with it. I do run a synology ds412+. This runs as a personal (company) version of dropbox. It updates super fast on local network. Netgear wireless router r6250. It connects at 234 Mbps wireless. That is about 1.8gb per minute if my lookup is correct. Outside the office depents on you internet speed. We run 50 download / 12 upload. More on cloud staion HERE
  3. I would not run a server. The cheapest way is to use the paid version of dropbox. The files are always available and update as they are saved. Synology has a file server that runs cloud station. It is like a personal dropbox service. Much more setup. Ken
  4. Add 2 more roof planes. One on eash side of the dining room to create a ridge point. Ken
  5. Annosets are the new powerhouse in Chief. You should use them the the MAX. I have taught others on how to use annosets. I will try to post a video in the next week on How I use them. Good Luck
  6. I use annosets all of the time. Learned from Scott, Use more like Joe. Annosets are KING. They work perfectly the way I use them now. Same as Joe I believe.
  7. Yes. Try going to defaults, 3D view defaults. Uncheck brighten ceilings. See attached.
  8. Hello all! I used to get very frustrated with what printed and not. Layers on - layers off. Since then I have started using anno sets with layer sets for almost everything. I do not touch the layer set that the anno set uses!!! (Mainly helps me from confusing myself LOL). This is what I use also to send out to layouts. I never miss turning a layer on / off. I use a layer set named (all walls on) for example for a temporary working set allowing me to see and edit all walls. Then go back to my annoset to reset back to my normal working layers. No more layer on / layer off or forgetting to change back the layers. A layer set could be created for any temporary use. I make great use of layer sets as a way temporary change the layers on / off to what I need at the moment. I use a anno set to have what I want to displayed. An example would be anno set (1st flr) with layer set (1st flr). Then have a anno set & layer set for the 2nd floor. The only difference would be maybe the 2nd floor shows the roof in a soft dashed line. Hope this of some help.
  9. Select the roofs. Use the transform/replicate tool. Select the move checkbox. Enter the distince in the "Z" box. Then "OK" Button. Done! Good Luck
