I agee, Snagit is not expensive, is easy to use, and you can do annotations that are clear and simple.

I must admit that I made a mistake. The contour lines do contain elevation data in the cad file, but these are not imported into CA in a meaningful way. I assumed that if you converted the line into a contour line in CA that it would use the 3d info. It doesn't. My appologies.

The contour lines, if exploded, all have elevation data. This additional comment to John's post is just for clarity on where elevation data can be accessed in this version of the survey.

I agree with Gene's comments. About your problem, is the layer attic wall turned on? It would also be helpful for you to post the plan file.

What aspect of the molding are you having problems with? There is a lot of opportunities for moldings in this picture that you posted. Perhaps you could be more specific?

Rene. I am a customer of yours and don't begrudge you making money for your skill and expert knowledge. However this forum would fall apart if we all followed your example. Maybe I'm wrong but this is the place we're we help one another. This forum is one of the reasons that so many of us use CA. So maybe post a comment that for $34 I'll help you and click on this link. I just hope not every advanced user doesn't do the same.
