Another thing that Chief should allow. I'm doing as bulliten drawing for a T.I. project. The Conference Rm has changed so I'm doing an 8.5x11 with the revised plan and an elevation of a kitchenette. I copied a partial plan and want to show the elevation of the cabinets. Chief won't let me because it is "outside the building" I've had to this many times why won't chief let me. I exported the elevation from the whole plan and the partial plan into VCAD and had my bulliten dwg. in 10 min complete. Very Frustrating if you don't design capes Chief does not like you. I hope I don't get warning points but I'm frustrated.

The big problem as I see it is that the way Chief works it is better to set up a new template with each upgrade. I find this time consuming and something that Chief does not do well. Every time I upgrade I have problems with Libs and especially with materials. I sure wish they would get it together with upgrades.

Dan When the forum changed I changes email to my gmail from cox as well as my password. When I'm asked to log in the dbx comes up with my cox address. Your database needs to be cleaned I think. Ron

Dan, I use Explorer and Chrome usually on this computer. I do shut down computer at night. I do sometimes watch videos and download libs. Ron

Curt did you change any of your settings when you came over to the new forum. I did and think that is the problem. Cheif looks at my old information. I think.

Dan, I think part of my problem is that I changed my email to gmail with the new forum. When I go to sign in after not being automatically logged in my old email appears in the log-in DBX. Your computer database need to be cleaned up. Ron Ravenscroft

Radon by Graebert They are developing their software for android. They stated on( upFront.eZine) that is was easy to port to Android. Maybe Dan should hire some of their engineers!!!!!

Scott, Great Video with one exception, my daughter went ballistic when my 12 yo grandson watched it. I am teaching him Chief. The problem was your language. Didn't bother me but is is food for thought. Ron

I'm not about your pontificating but as fart as measuring and drawing in the field we have done it thousands of times. We take as laptop with Chief and our trusty Disto and complete the field work on site.

Joe, I imported it changed layer and material then put in in the plan.and it works great. I* agree much better then Material Region. Thanks much. Ron
