I have X11 and that is the problem for me. Won't print from X5, or X6. I downloaded pdf995 and it worked just fine. Its time for adobe to get with it.

thanks Scott I changed it to a 3/4" thick temp glass wall. It worked fine to a point as Chief always does. Just not enough features for people doing custom stuff. We need more hardware, need a better way to show hinges. Better door numbering system, etc.

I have been using polyline solids to show butt joint glass. I don't bother with the track. Track is shown on my details. Does anyone have a better way to show it. When I do a camera view the polyline does not show.

Optimum Size for Single Car Detached Garage
raltd9245 replied to Louie_Carter's topic in General Q & A
In PHX it would have to be 11'x. They require 24" on each side of the door. I guess you could use a smaller door. I use 9' as a min. When I was back east 12'x24' was min. -
BTW I'm printing from X5

Pocket & Surface Sliding Door Library

Joe, As my Father the carpenter used to say. " you hit the nail on the head Son" . And you have to know that my favorite color is orange. Chief programmers, are you listening? This is not to much to ask for a Mature program that markets its features as being professionally proficient. This is so bad that I'm being teased about it. Ron -
I just deactivated my X6 license on line but my X5 license does not show up. I had to use GoToMyPC to deactivate my X5 license in Seattle due to the fact that I'm is Phoenix. In my way of thinking I should be able to see my X5 and X6 licenses online. Anybody have a comment.

Larry, Joe's answer is right on as close as it gets. That being said The software architects at Chief differ in the way they use the term. Ron

Dan, Why doesn't the new forum automatically sign me in from an email notification. The old forum did this without my entering a password or user name. HELP Regards Ron

I finally set up my notifications from email but when I click on the email this is what I get.

Why do I find myself constantly having to diagnose issues?
raltd9245 replied to dshall's topic in General Q & A
Get a PC, I don't have only problems. Itg's either the lack of rain or your MAC. -
I'm not sure that's possible. Chief has many deficiencies when it comes to real world construction. All I can say is they are getting better slowly
-
Mr. Carrick, Thank you ever so much. You are a life saver. I had originally thought that someone under a bridge would come thru, but he is way to busy with his new MAC. Regards Ron

I guess I'll try it once more. Thanks Much.

Yesterday I was logged in to SAA and downloading library updates and decided to open Chief Talk. I found that I hasd to log in to Chief Talk. I was under the impression that with the new system that we had one username and one password. That would lead me to believe that being logged into one measnt you were automatically logged to the other. Am I incorrect in my assumptions. Dan somebody help.
