Hi everyone, i just noticed on a plan i am working on one room is being surrounded like it is not connected. I cannot select room because ca doesnt think its there? Any ideas?

I have been using the pbr quite successfully for many interior views of designs since it came out. every once in a while as it settles in to produce initial view it goes completely white as if completely over exposed. i can’t fix it. only way I have found was to delete camera and make new pbr view. anyone else seeing this?

it does seem like more work than its worth, i have a bluetooth bosch glm50c that will work with the chief planner but i have a portable tripod laptop station and bring my computer and put it right into chief.

Eric I can’t remember if the small roof is a truss frame, why does it matter how roof is framed, shouldn’t program work either way for a flat soffit?

i see i did not actually draw the roof truss i just redrew roof with roof truss box checked.

mick, i selected all roof planes but did not see an option after opening to force rebuild?

Thanks Perry, i redrew roof plane with trusses checked, didnt even build framing and the soffit corrected, ca never said to do this.

I know i have spoken to chief about this in x9, you would think that these kind of bugs that are very common would get fixed in new releases?

yes tried higher eaves boxed, no change.

not sure why mine is not working...

When ever i have a lower cant below an upper roof i lose the boxed eave, any suggestions how to fix this or is this just an ongoing bug that hasnt been fixed yet? This is on x10 but happened on x9 as well.

not sure what happened but it looks much better now.

I see that, does not do anything to lighten mirror, the hue either makes it too green or too purple...I think they need to do some work here yet, hopefully for final release?

Mirrors seem to be an issue with physically based renders...they render very dark?

I had to turn carmera exposure way up, still kind of blue looking.

Not sure how you guys are getting this physically based render to work, here are two renders one physical and one standard. The physical is very dark and bad. Does a good job on stainless steel, am i missing something? I even have the enhanced lighting turned on?

wall lines showing up on wall elevations at windows?

doesnt show in standard view, but you would not expect it to in that view as this does not show edges in that view type. -
I have a wall with material regions for battens and just noticed extra lines coming from corners of windows on x10 beta so i went back to x9 to see if it was an x10 issue and there are less but still showing up on x9 elevations, any ideas why?

I did some details and when i went back to copy these to add to another plan all the hatching including the arrows were all individual lines? I understand that if you produced a cadd detail from view you would get this but these details were produced manually in cadd. Anybody run into this before?

I am actually printing to printer.. having a hard time making the line weights print out properly

I am struggling with getting my line weights to show proper for 3/4 and 1" scales. So i understand there are a number of factors. line weight number drawing sheet print setup scaled view layout sheet print setup What do people use for section lines in details as far as line weight? What should i have my drawing sheet set to? What should i have my layout line weight set to? I have tried a number of combinations but the view on the screen is so much thicker than what i get in print.

I was sure that i could pull markers away to not have text overlap each other, has this changed? I do not know how to do this. CA automatically did this for the 4" dimension but fails to do this for the 10" dimension. Anyone know how to do this? I called ca and they said that they did not know and to do it manually.
