Derek, I currently have about 30-40 models , multiples of one design, you only load 4-5 per page, right now it is challenging to find the one I want, having some folders would really help manage these. David

I opened another plan and had no problems, so I took a look at this plan and I had a circular stair wall and after I deleted the wall if worked great.

Im running x9 and all of the sudden when i try and do any change while i have the 3d view open ca spins for 5-10sec i cant do anything, any thoughts? I am running a new laptop with a 960m gtx nvidia card, I7... David

I want to differentiate between window and door casing in the material list. They are really both the same but i want to separate them for pricing purposes. I have selected a different casing type for each but they are both 3.5" wide, ca seems to only show 1x4 casing in material list? What can i do, do i have to make one of them only 3" to get a different value in materials list? \ Seems silly that you can choose a different casing and the material list lumps them together? David

I was at a customers home and did a design right on the spot for a Reno and shared with them a 360 link. when they opened link and had phone in portrait mode and selected full screen it fills their iPhone entire screen but I only get the top of my screen??? very frustrating, come on ca!

Anyone experiencing issues with display once you select view on iPhone? I have an iPhone6, if I go to full screen mode while holding phone in portrait it does not go full screen just at top, see pic once I turn it to landscape I still get bar on bottom also I can't get out of this mode after sometimes i I can get full screen to display but very rarely,, seems like it has lots of bugs still? Ca says it's an apple issue, but I put google glasses app on my phone and it works perfectly with google glasses, not sure why ca is having so much trouble with this.. I get dbl vision with ca's google view. David

I saved hw in a different direction and applied it to treads so the hw would run across treads but when I did this the hw changed from running across landing to running perpendicular to landing.

If I make Newell 0 won't I lose Newels at beginning of stairs? what happened to new and improved stairs in x9? david

Does anyone know how to control whether ca puts a newel post at wall of landing? I know there is an option for railings not on landing. Also how does one control where the newel posts go, they are hanging over my stair and landing? I also tried changing direction of hardwood, but ca does not allow me to change landing and treads to be different? What am i missing?

Does anybody have a undermount trough sink? I am surprised that ca doesnt even have a retangular undermount i could stretch??? David

The 360 view is a stationary view from a point in space.. so I don't think this will work like you think..it will show exterior of model but only what it can see from camera view point.

Eric you can send a normal view with shadows, lights and reflections and textures to a 360.. very quick, I have done about 30 already. david

Kirk i looked at the pannellum and it looks very interesting...you can hook up multiple 360's and go from one to another, also you can add notes to different items in the vr view..i couldnt figure out how to do it..have you? David

Ca needs to fix screen and remove top and bottom bar.. I have spoke to them and they are working on fixing it. David

There is an option when you do a ray trace to do 360, after it's done and stopped you export 360 view

It was good to learn about these macros.. i currently do mostly renovation design build.. I go to customers home and input their existing home into a 3D as built and then do a design and price Reno. i am looking for ways to automate the material quantities for pricing purposes. with x9 I wonder if a room schedule could export martial quantities by room? Or maybe I use poly lines for flooring and wall tile? David

Also anybody try the google glass view? when you send a 360 view link and open it up on your device you can move phone around and it is like you are looking at the room..or you can move view with your finger... but there is also an option to select the vr glass button at bottom and it splits view into two to be used with a vr viewer such as google glasses... When i do this i get double vision...the image still has top and bottom bars so the picture is not filling screen..no way to get rid of them..the view is double vision..not sure if it is because of this but i cant get it to work... If you download the google cardboard app from ios or google store the screen is filled with picture and it works perfectly.. David

Yes i did use the bottom image to upload to facebook but it did not recognize it as a panorama.

I had a problem with cabinets and stairs showing thru even though they were on the inside of model..it turned out i had a rogue item very far away from model and the program was having trouble displaying everything that far out and it effected my elevations in model..once i deleted items out there it fixed this..not sure if this is your problem.. David
