  1. Here's one I just did of a sunporch addition. Lots of interior lights and a few sconces and down spots on exterior.
  2. Charlene, This is controlled by your roof heights. Build your room and set its height at 88.5". Then build your roof using your given pitch with the right wall set to "gable", set your roof base height to 62.5 and that should do it.
  3. I tried a different way which works quickly and easily. Place the symbol, select it, open it, change "Height to center" to 16" or whatever, ok and close. Voila!
  4. Nuisance! I click on the right side of the library window.
  5. Hi dbkb Sounds like you are using the "running dimension" tool and you should be using the "interior dimension" tool. What version of CA are you using. Also, good idea to list your info (computer system, memory, name, location etc. ) in your signature. Welcome back Doug Maddox
  6. Is there a way to control the speed of the mouse orbit camera when using (Ctrl-Alt-S)? Thanks Doug
  7. Just downloaded Kerry's program and it will be a great addition to Chief in that one small area. However, to those of us who tuned in later than Version 10 and had no idea what a ".ALB" file is. Kerry informed me by e-mail that you can upack the .ALB files that come with the full download using the Library>Convert Legacy .ALB files command. Some good additions to your user library. Doug
  8. Hi Gene I get along fine with 2.5 (they say 5 but here in the country the corn gets in the way between us and the local grain elevator) when using Chief. I would recommend higher however for other programs and things like Dropbox and Carbonite. Doug Maddox
  9. Yes, Go to the "Wall" tool. Select "Room Divider" and draw your new office area. If you have already named the big area" Office", that name will pop up in the new area. Open the new area and rename to whatever.
  10. Jess Works here. No problem. I tried in plan view and in an elevation and works fine. I have no suggestions on how to fix in your case. Doug
  11. Yes, this bothers me ALOT - hope there is an answer.
