I couldn't even think of combining the foundation plan with any floor plan, with all the earthquake stuff we have to put on the plan out here. It would look like Godzilla stomped it down.
-
A clean model is a happy model, existing walls left in the plan, just muck it up.

Where is the waterfall video when you need it for a laugh. Funniest thing on Earth.
-
for me ,I would make the lowest floor, level 1, so you can do a foundation below that.
-
Escape usually stops it for me.

The great thing about Scott is he will do it, and make a video of how its done. It not the money, it's the challenge.

You can watch a lot of available video's on Youtube and here at Chief's website. There are a lot of them to keep you busy for many weeks. There are also a lot of trainers here that can help you get started. You will always be learning, I still am.

Yes I have My Software edge smoothing set to zero all the time, let the hardware do the work, it's faster.

Hi, when I checked the preferences and then render it says the following:
openGLdriver status Intel
OpenGLvender Intel
OpenGL Renderer Intel® HD graphics 3000
It doesn't say anything about my Nvidia GTX 580
Could this be the problem?
If so, does anyone know how I can change it
You have to change to the NVidia card in the NVidia control panel, change it there. You are still running the intel built in card.

Until X6 came out with fast shadows, even with my card, there was slowness going on, but now I leave shadows on all the time 24/7.
-
Try turning off "auto position head and tail", I had to do that a while back b/c it was changing position on me for no reason.
-
Nice, Gerry, Thanks for that and I wish Chief would let us into all that information that's available to use.
-
If you want framing for 2 walls ,you must use 2 single walls and put them against each other.
-
That card is pretty old and not even close to the quality of a newer card. Also turn off shadows if they are on.

Not as busy as it has been here, but I'm just one person and only so much time in the day so it's easy to keep me busy. Hey, I found out I have a nephew from my brother ,who is a lot older than I, My brother was in the air force back in 1963 in North Carolina and had a baby with his wife, I also didn't know about. He found me doing an Ancestry check. H wants to fly us out there next month (1st class) for a visit. It's a little scary not knowing anything about them but might do it. He was crying on the phone b/c he found us. Who would have thought? oh ,and BTW my brother is dead now.

ok, I thought it was Ron, but I just forgot,
-
wow, I thought the transfer fee was 50 bucks

OK, thanks - I'm glad I didn't get the MAC BUG !!!!!!!
Me too,

That is really odd and not something I've ever heard of. I can't even speculate as to what might be the cause. I would suggest getting with our support team to see if we can find out how to reproduce the issue.
Handle sizes stay a constant size on screen regardless of zoom.
Yes they do, it just looks smaller to me when zooming out.
-
Haven't seen what you are experiencing but I have my handle size at 10 and I think it gets smaller as you zoom out, but really is the same size relative to the plan,
-
I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet.
-
Sometimes **** happens, I would just delete that wall a place a new one
-
Search here for laptops, there is a lot of discussion about this.
-
I think you are wrong. Ron is grumpier then both of you.
He's the curmudgeon , he has the right to be grumpy

Gene, do you use reference sets to show things as you want them?
