I never use the materials list, I think in the past it never posted to the materials list, shows you how much I use it.

I never rotate plans, if I need to rotate, I would try rotating the layout view first. Heard that somewhere before. I guess

you could rotate the room labels by hand.

You could try to copy/ paste the plan from X6 to an X5 plan and fix up the differences.

Nope, they are much more powerful.  They can convert just about any file type to a PDF and the other way around as well.  For me they are much easier to use than anything else I've tried.

Paperport also has a lot of conversion type available that is included.

look here. If you use plain text you can go to defaults and change it or if you use text styles, you can change it there also

P solids ARE calculated in the materials list under Exterior Trim.

That's my point a p-solid could be anything but you have no way of

addressing this

Search the old ChiefTalk, I don't think Chief's lib. has any good ones, but I know people here have posted some good ones in the past

Is "rotate with plan" checked in you text DBX. If not select all text and check it.

I've been using Nuance's PDF Converter Professional without any problems.  They just came out with a new product Power PDF Advanced that I'm going to purchase ($99.99) because it has even more power - it can convert PDF to fillable forms, etc.

Is that version, the free one you get with Paperport. If so I think I have it, just don't use it.

You don't need to look for a driver, just click on retain os driver

When you move the mouse over an edit handle does the cursor change?

 

If you minimize the main window and then maximize it do things start to work again?

 

Mine would take forever to change about 30 sec's but would not drag anything unless I sat there for another 30 sec's. I just changed my mouse driver to the OS setting and it now seems to be ok, for now. I use a Logitech performance MX mouse.

Doug, that sounds like a problem I'm having also, sent it in. Things have gotten real slow with sections and camera views all open at the same time. Very hard to draw anything.

Not in vector graphics. Choose a text and zoom in as much as you can, it will always stay sharp in your pdf.

I'm not talking monitor, just printed to PDF.
