No I did several things (wall def's) and two corner walls in the front weren't connected. You also has a single layer wall in the front pony wall and I
just changed it to a stucco wall, not sure if that's what you want, but it was multi layered. The single layered walls cannot extend below the floor line.

here is your plan back fixed as to your problem but I can see many other problems also, watch some video's on wall definition's and rooms.
-
Are rooms turned on and did you frame it?
Looks like you have a room definition problem. I'll see if I can find it.
Also looks like your wall definitions are wrong and they all need to be fixed.
-
You should send them in, this problem has been forever. I hope in X7 this is finally fixed, I have had to just add mono slabs using the old way, and include footings, of course you cant adjust
individual footings that way but it works.

I think Joe C. does a lot of log homes, I'm sure I've seen some of his stuff before. Maybe he can chime in.

I pretty much do the same thing using Carbonite and its unlimited space available. As soon as I save the file on my SSD drive, it automatically goes to
Carbonite where I can retrieve it from any device.

Well, if you are using 2X treads, then you have to kind of fill in the gap unless the steps have a riser height of less than 5.5", otherwise you don't pass the sphere test. So you need SOMETHING on your riser, but I would be afraid of using a partially closed riser. Seems like it would be a good way to get a toe caught in there during a fall. If the stairs have a total height of less than 30", then you can use open risers, of course.
I would put the 4" or so blocking on the top of the tread so it would stop your toe. On the bottom could be a toe catcher.
-
I read the code to say if the stairs are 30" or less then you can have open
risers and open risers are permitted with the sphere test

I know that Scott has been doing it for a while now, maybe he will chime in.

Under build/ walls section
There is also a floor materials tool.
The wall and floor materials tool will report to the the materials lists. Sometimes I just use a shower pan and change the material to whatever I want it to be. Tile, marble, granite
The really good thing about it is it will delete any finish under it like drywall.
-
Lots of ways to do it, I do like the way scott just takes it from another plan and plunks it
down. It's so simple that way.
-
I don't think that's spelled correctly.

I always make mine out of glass walls with no problems and use the wall material tool to put tile walls anywhere I want.
-
Also, the way CA does shower enclosures is a problem because the tile stops at the inside corner fo the room when in reality the tile has to go to what would be the exterior face of a wall or knee wall so that the glass is against the tile. i.e. the tile runs past the glass.
Not with the new wall material tool.

Ask and you shall receive, Hey Scott give him what he asks for. Video's and a laugh for free

Thanks Joe, I have one of those coming up, just in time to try it.
Shouldn't the brick go to the ground?

I know Scott has done some video's on this a while back. Thanks for sharing that, nice to know.

Around here if you have more than 4 bedrooms, you must have a 3 car garage, so I'm mostly trying "not to call" out bedrooms, and use other words like Study, Retreat, Bonus etc.
Of course I leave the closet out.

I would say private (single family)

Similar, except the parapet wall extends higher than the roof. I can never get the auto roofs to do what I need, I do start with auto roofs but must always fix them unless they are very simple.
-
Stairs and landings need to be connected, try to move the stairs a little and they might auto connect , then the railing will be correct. To verify if they are connected, open the stair DBX and if you see 2 stairs shown , they are connected
How To Break A Polyline Sidewalk Or Driveway?
in General Q & A

Sometimes I need to zoom in closer to break it. You can also convert it to a plain p-line and convert it back to a slab
