I don't think I've built 2 different foundation types in one plan before. Can it be done?

Yes, done it lots. its all in the room and footing settings.

Here is your fixed plan Check out the settings. You needed to adjust the stem wall size to 12" to match the footing and level it all up, easier to fix than explain b/c slabs are still a little difficult to understand. It's not the brick ledge, make sure align w outside edge is checked in the footing DBX.

I use this a lot and I have never seen an auto chimney tool. I have to make them out of p-solid or walls

Some people have made fireplaces ( and shared) that already have a chimney. You just drag it up where you want it.

You can now copy defaults from one plan to another, just copy the defaults from the old plan to the new blank page plan before pasting.

Look like the drywall ceiling poking thru from a ceiling on the other side. Try a close up section to check. Which wall did you balloon frame ,first or second..

Yes, this is the setting I was thinking about but It for when you stop drawing a wall.

This is a major flub and needs a special update to fix.

No, but if you start drawing your walls by right-clicking, you can draw them continuously which might be even faster in some cases.

Yes but you need to set that up in "Preferences". maybe he didn't have that set up correctly. 

Just click on the balloon thru ceiling above and it will fill in.

You can also just use the Spline sidewalk tool.

Maybe people who used it needed to Donate to keep it alive.

I'm not having any of those problems, you talk about, you just need to learn the program better as with any you might choose

there is no Equal setting in Chief. Maybe X7 if we dream

Draw each apartment unit as a separate plan file and copy paste in a new plan for the building plan as a whole.

It would be nice to know exactly what happened when they say "in certain cases" and "sometimes caused" and "under certain circumstances". Also

Chief doesn't do Battered walls very good at this time lots of problems w/ windows and doors. Usually people here have used p-solids but there are

other ways to do it but a lot of work to achieve.We have been asking for Chief to add this function to the program, maybe X7.

I only download what (bonus and manf'r libs.) I need at that time. I don't think anyone really needs everything except Lew, he has it all

Yes you can have the terrain on any level you choose, just delete and create on that level.

Yes, but Chief is not AutoCAD, completely different engine. Over the years Chief has had some problems with those cards.
