OwnALandmark
I have worked in Chief Architect x3 & 4 for about 5 years and would consider myself pretty competent in it and the use of 3D cameras, rendering, etc. I recently upgraded to X7, and am having some issues with the 3D cameras. When I am drawing a house and go to look at it in 3D (regardless of what type: floor overview, full overview, etc), nothing shows up. Sometimes the screen is just white...sometimes it's a shade of gray. I've watched some X7 tutorials, and none of them seem to have any issues with it and are just able to click the camera buttons to get them to work. Even when it's something as simple as just 4 exterior walls in a rectangular shape, I cannot get it to show up in 3D. Any help is appreciated! ShaneK
post plan and let us, if we can see it you will know its a computer issue and not a CA issue.
OwnALandmark
Shane, it's not a particular plan, it's even when I just open up a new drawing, draw a recangle with 4 walls, and try to create a 3-D view. That being said, I have attached a file that simply has 4 walls and a hipped roof.

Kiwideziner
What are your computer specs? maybe a video card problem as X7 is harder on cards than earlier versions.
Kiwideziner
Works perfectly fine here. Are you on a laptop with on board graphics card?
country
Have you gone into your video card setting and added Chief X7 to the 3D list?
Greg_NY61
No problems here also, must be your settings or video card.
