Wall Caps

I like to use sills on my stem wall tops. I am helping a fellow CA user (their plan file) in the area and we all use settings differently. When I build the fdn the caps are not sitting on the stem wall tops. I do not have the option to vertical and horizontal settings. Any advice what this may be?

We don't have Wall Cap Offsets for full height walls (Walls that are not ponywalls/railings) in X17, but we do in X18.

I'm not sure why the wall cap is sitting so high though... I wouldn't expect it there. Maybe post the plan so we could poke at it?

Post the plan. Something you arent expecting is causing the behavior.... I would test it outside the existing model in the same drawing. Draw a small 4 sided room somewhere away from the model with the same wall types as the plan. Add the foundation as it is on the main house and add the cap like you would normally and see if the behavior changes.

This is a block stem wall by the way. I create these all the time with a rowlock feature and it is just not cooperating this time.
