PitMan71
I am trying to export jpg images straight from chief floor plan. Anybody got any suggestions to make the image sharp? No matter what resolution I export to the image is grainy.... I am able to get a sharper image by exporting to PDF first and then using preview to export to jpg. Seems like there should be a more direct way. Thanks
robdyck
As far as I know, using a convert pdf to jpg tool is still the simplest way.
Solution DBCooper Posted Tuesday at 10:17 PM Solution Share Posted Tuesday at 10:17 PM As far as I know, Chief will only let you export a picture of a plan view using the actual screen pixels, so increasing the DPI will just make the image dimensions smaller. BTW, you can export a picture from a camera view using a much higher resolution, just not plan views. You can do the pdf trick or maybe you could export it as a cad file (dwg) instead.
glennw
Does exporting as a Metafile work (.emf or .wmf)? I can't try it out as metafiles are not supported on mac. Edited Wednesday at 12:29 AM by glennw
