Hi everyone,

I have an active residential project ready for an immediate start. I am looking for a fast, precise Chief Architect user to create a clean, 3D structural massing model from a complete set of highly detailed 2D architectural PDFs (The O'Brien Norkus Residence).

What I am looking for:

  • Software: Must create the native model entirely in Chief Architect.

  • Scope of Deliverables:

    • Exact 3D Translation: Accurate modeling of the 2D architectural drafts into a 3D environment, maintaining all specific floor plans, levels, and wall thicknesses.

    • Roof & Stair Integration: Precise generation of the complex roof system and intersecting gables as shown in the structural framing plans. Full internal staircases must be included and modeled accurately to the building sections.

    • Site Layout: Tracing the basic property layout from the final pages (driveway footprint and pool outline) ensuring both the primary 2.5-story residence and the 1-story ADU sit correctly on the property terrain.

    • Native Source File: Handover of the uncorrupted native .plan file.

  • Style Parameter: This is strictly a White Box / Monochrome model. Please do NOT spend time on custom textures, furniture, painting, materials, or advanced rendering setups. The focus is 100% on clean line geometry, spatial accuracy, and massing.

Budget & Timeline:

  • Budget: $100 Flat (Fixed Price).

  • Timeline: Maximum 5 Days from kickoff.

If you are fast with the software and can deliver a clean .plan file on this timeline, please DM me with a quick screenshot or sample of your past Chief Architect work. Let’s get started today!

Best regards,

Donald

If that was my hourly rate my kids would not have shoes.

My grandkids have to buy their own shoes. OTOH, you just need to bill for more hours.  ;)

IAE, I bill by the sq ft --- which depends on the type of project.

Donald, I have to ask, is there a copy of the file that folks could possibly review?  Say, either .dwg, pdf or chief? Without seeing what you wish for people to actually create a model of it will be difficult for anyone to take this posting serious, considering the extremely low price you suggested for the amount of work and timeline requested. Really, if you can, please provide an example and perhaps more people will be really  interested. Thank you.
