wjwbuilder
Thanks for having a look Doug_N I been drawing in Chief since the company started, I'm old LOL Never had this problem before. This is drawn in X-17 one story building with truss roof. I have not built the framing yet. So Just 2x6 walls and the attic or gable walls are built by x17 itself. But still a large attic area in a truss system. I would like to place a 8/12 gable vent. I've done it a million times. I could build a polyline solid and fake it but I would like not to have to do that. Thanks again. Gable ends I would like place siding vents for attic air.pdf
JonathanK
Are you talking about a window and making it louvered, or are you talking about a symbol out of the library?
wjwbuilder
Symbol from the Core library Round Vents and Gable vents that match the roof pitch and belong tight to the peak. Thanks, Bill
JonathanK
Have you tried using a window and switching the type to Louvered. I'm curious if it's the wall, or something else...
DBCooper Posted yesterday at 12:39 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:39 AM I am not having any problems placing one from the library. You need to post an actual plan file so that someone can see what is going on in your plan. A pdf with a picture doesn't help in this case.
