Boxed Soffit Issue

All I am having a boxed soffit issue where the trim is being placed on the outside edge of the box and not where it's supposed to be. I have tried several things to try and resolve and nothing is working. Hoping someone has sHidden Oaks 34.plan.zipeen this issue before.

Hi Shane,

I had a look at the trim issue and I think its caused by the curved roof section. I'm not sure if you intended it to be curved.

I took the liberty to change it to straight sections and it is doing a better job of joining the trim. attached a sample to look at.

Thanks for having a look.... Yes. I want that section of the roof to be curved.

ok, well I have found curved roofs don't tend to play well in chief. no matter the version.

Hope you get it sorted.

I have found with roofs that if anything happens like you have listed there is an error somewhere. Once that gets fixed everything falls into place. From making sure all roof plans are joined to wall placement CA roofs are very sensitive. Might even be a box needing checked or unchecked. I fixed a boxed eave this morning after a search and found a 10 year old thread that showed me what to do. It worked great.
