I think it better to raise the terrain.

 

Have you drawn your houses on the same level?

I assume that you have drawn them on different levels.

Open the Terrain Specification dbx and go to General page.

Check Auto Build Terrain.

Uncheck Automatic.

Look this up in the help file and then have a play with entering different values (including negative values) for Subfloor Height Above Terrain.

If the terrain is sloped, then the main floor level needs to be lowered to keep it in relation to the grade.  That's what I meant by lowering the floors. Adjust the subfloor levels in the negative direction to where it needs to be
