Exterior Renderings

I've done several exterior renderings for a building company.  They  have opened new offices and need me to resend the original renderings so they can mount each rendered building into 30" x 16" frame.  Can you tell me the best exporting format so the renderings do not loose any sharpness when enlarged

Change the export dimensions to "Units" and set the Resolution to at least 300 pixels/inch:

In the past I'd call the print shop and discuss with them.  They'll tell you what format and minimum resolution they prefer.

Choose 600dpi for best results at actual size.  Use 1200dpi if you plan to enlarge the image.  The latter is what we send as proofs to agencies and PowerPoint slides.

File type also matters because some file formats are "lossy" (such as jpg) and some are not compressed (like bmp).  I prefer to use png unless the people that you are sending them to request a specific format.
