Is There A Way To Override And Change A Dimension As In A Broken Wall Section?

Wall sections are often broken, but need to be dimensioned. So do you do this in Chief?

I draw a cad line arrow and place some text.

SoftPlan has a very nice feature that allows any dimension to be over ridden, both single dimensions and strings.  

 

What's particularly nice is that the over ridden dimension shows up as a different color, so it's very easy to go back and refine the dimensions or proof a final plan.

 

I hope this is something Chief will consider.

Totally agree.  We've suggested it many times.  Here's just one of those suggestion threads.  Maybe add your comments in there.
