Doug_N
Ray tracing is an intrinsically CPU intensive process by design. The advent of the RTX series of cards allows for GPU to do ray tracing using PBR methods.

I think you are confusing the OLD CPU base Raytracing method and available for many years and the Newer PBR RT ( Real time) Raytracing method introduced in X13............. you may also need to make sure Chief is using the Nvidia Card especially if it's a Laptop. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-03140/forcing-chief-architect-programs-to-use-a-specific-graphics-card-in-windows-10-11.html https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/1970/ray-tracing-an-introduction.html?playlist=139 https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/1972/ray-tracing-gpu-lighting.html?playlist=139 https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/1973/ray-tracing-gpu-camera-settings.html?playlist=139 https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/#playlist-103 M.

DBCooper
Always best to start a new thread with a new question. Also, the "export image" tool will let you choose the resolution. A screen grab won't.
