Hi, everybody
This question is not exactly related to technical issues about Chef Architect but I don’t know what to do. Let’s see… how can I explain this?
I’m really bad designing my own furniture so I usually download stuff from pages like 3D Warehouse. I save everything in the User Catalog. I try to keep everything in order and in different folders but, as you can guess, working with so many things is a mess.
I try to clean these folders regularly removing furniture I don’t use anymore but my hard disk is a disaster. I’ve been updating the software and now I don’t know where all the libraries are (including the stuff I downloaded). I’m scared of deleting the wrong "Chief Architect Premier X Data" folder.
Then, another strange thing that happens while working with downloaded symbols is that, after adding them to my catalog, their textures are lost. Doesn’t Chief Architect keep them?
I don’t know if I’m missing anything… How can I “clean” the software? Many thanks!

Tip Added here after being found buried in a post in the Q&A Section as I thought it would be useful for Others, Thx Chopsaw.
*I have also added some PDFs and links for GIMP.

Making SEAMLESS TEXTURES using Gimp. * this info is in the PDF below too
It's an open source (free) photo editing software available at https://www.gimp.org
Tutorials are here : https://www.gimp.org/tutorials/

https://download.gimp.org/gimp/v2.10/windows/gimp-2.10.34-setup.exe
1. Open the image file in Gimp.
2. Edit > Copy, then Edit > Paste as new layer. Paste it as a new layer three times so you have a total of four copies, each on their own layer.
3. Image > Canvas Size. Exactly double the width and height of the image/canvas size.
4. Use the alignment tool to align each layer in its own corner (so they are all visible, not overlapped).
5. Use the "flip" tool to reverse/mirror three of the layers. Leave the top-left corner alone.
Reverse the top-right corner horizontally.
Reverse the lower-left corner vertically.
Reverse the lower right corner horizontally and vertically.
6. Export the new image. This will now be a seamless texture when tiled. Choose it as the texture file for your material.
7. Adjust the scale of your new material since the size of the image is now larger.

Hello!
I hope everybody is enjoying this year that’s ending.
I’d like making a question before 2023 comes. Is there a way to make some kind of “up holes” in a wall in order to set some puck lights up too?
First, I tried with a wall niche but it’s too thin. I don’t know if I’ll have to use a pony wall or other but I have never worked with them so I’m feeling a bit lost. Any idea?
Many thanks and Happy New Year!

I can't figure out why my walls are not meeting the roof.
I run into this a lot and usually finagle walls by puling on their handles etc but changing from gable wall to hip wall etc seems to make no difference in how the wall acts.
I just want them to act like when I first drew them where they just automatically connect with the roof.
