glennw
Rob, You have all 3 wall layers designated as Main Layer. You should only have the centre framing layer as the main layer.
Dermot
Glenn nailed it. The "main" problem (pun intended) is that your interior wall definition has all layers marked as the main layer. If you change it so that only the framing layer is the main layer it will behave much better. The reason that some people did not see any problem is because they are X7 beta testers. Wall connections is one of the many areas that are improved in X7 that probably won't show up on the "What's New in X7" list. Another problem in your plan is that several of your walls are at very strange angles. You will probably want to fix these up so that they are actually on 15 degree increments. I'm not sure if you drew them with angle snaps off or if some other snap caused them to go off angle. We also did some work in X7 so that it is harder to accidently snap walls to strange angles like this.
glennw
The other thing that will happen when you fix up the main layer wall definition is that you will not need to use a polyline solid to wrap the wall ends at the bottom of the stairs. The wall lining will wrap automatically
