SNestor
Can someone tell me why the "ridge" of this small roof return frames the way it is framing...the "ridge" is angled into the gable end wall. Weird. It has to be a plan issue because I cannot produce this issue in my template plan. Template plan framing...no problem.

joey_martin
Is the return auto generated or drawn manually? If manually created, try re-snapping it to the attic wall and see if that fixes the issue.

The picture above is an “auto” roof return...but I also built the same roof manually and got the same result.
Chopsaw
Steve it seems to have something to do with the position of the return on the roof plane. It seems to be happier directly in line with the corner of the wall framing. Not sure why an auto return would not be correct so that may need to be sent in.
