darinrichey
How can I send my Layout file via email to clients in a file format that is not in a PDF but in a typical, readable file that most people can open?
ebdesign
typical, readable file that most people can open? Ahhhh, that would be a pdf. Converting each page to an image would be another way, but way more cumbersome than a pdf. Why not pdf?
keithhe
Yeah, I can't think of a more universally acceptable format than PDF ?? Even the viewers are free
Electromen
I email drawings, invoices, scanned photos and many other files as .pdf Even the most inept computer users are able to open them.
Dan_Park
There is also the option of the client viewer.
Kbird1
If you don't want to send PDF's for some reason export a .jpg of the Layout/Plan view and email them the pic created , this is how I send quick views to Clients especially 3D views , as most mail progs. and web-browsers will open the attachment directly even on their Phones. Of course nothing is to scale etc this way if that is a consideration... M.
