GeneDavis
Setting up new service in new home, and never before offered different speeds. The offerings begin at 6 mbs, then go to 25, then on up. We don't want to overspend. What would you recommend?
DougMaddox
Hi Gene I get along fine with 2.5 (they say 5 but here in the country the corn gets in the way between us and the local grain elevator) when using Chief. I would recommend higher however for other programs and things like Dropbox and Carbonite. Doug Maddox

KilgoreTrout
For just running Chief, I don't think it matters too much. Where it will matter the most is when you want to download an update, download any libraries, or watch any of the training videos. Chances are, you don't do any of these things very often so you may be able to get away with the cheapest option.
keithhe
I agree with everyone else, for just Chief, matters little other than watching the training videos. I cut the cable at home as I watch little TV and just have internet. I'm 50 down and about 12 up. I do stream video and movies, but could do that on slower, if I wanted.
