Doggies1954
I have just discovered that in X6 my Status bar and bottom scroll bar do not show. No problems with X5. It's not plan specific, happens in any plan that I open. Status bar is checked in Preferences and Scroll bar and status bar are both checked under the View menu. Any ideas anyone? Doug_Park
It looks like the Windows Task bar is covering the bottom of your window. Maybe hitting the maximize button will correct the problem.
MickeyToo
I had the very same problem and sometimes maximizing and minimizing Chief did help to restore the status bar. I called tech support and they opened a ticket, but my latest inquiry says the problem is unresolved. Interesting, the problem has not occured since I installed the latest update (16.4). DRAWZILLA
I know that if you have 2 monitors going and drag one plan to the other monitor, you then have 2 chief's going at the same time. Then if you drag it back it can look like that. One time I had 5 going at the same time.
KirkClemons
This looks more like a display glitch that sometimes occurs on older systems. You can tell because the duplicate image is also happening to the Preferneces window. Maximizing to force the window to refresh is about the only fix that you have available for this type of thing. Doggies1954
Bill, the double image was caused by me saving the file twice when I was snipping the screen. Kirk, my system is only 18 months old and reasonably fast. Perry, I run on a laptop. No second monitor.
Doggies1954
Maybe hitting the maximize button will correct the problem. I've been using Chief since V4 and never had this problem. Thanks to Doug & MickyToo the above solved the problem. I don't know how it happened but hopefully will remember the solution if I do it again. Kbird1
The usual issue is that you have unchecked the toggle buttons...
