ebdesign
Has something changed w/ the new X6 update? Chief will not display the window casing in a brick wall unless the window is NOT recessed. what.zip
rlackore
I don't recall if this was an issue in X5. You kind of simulate brick molding by setting the exterior casing overlap to a negative number, but I agree that the masonry opening should be defined by the casing (brick molding). The sill won't show up either.
Kevin_Walker
I ran in to this problem yesterday with an older plan. Work around was to open window dbx, go to framing, and set R.O. to the width of the brick molding. Of course this will affect the framing but I could not find another way. This was not happening in X-5. Kevin Walker

Ridge_Runner
Same here. I reset the R.O. as suggested and at least got a correct elevation. Must be a problem with the new update which I am running.
Ridge_Runner
Just noticed that exterior entry doors are doing the same thing. The garage doors show correctly. Go figure.
NZ-DESIGNER
I sent this to tec the other day when we found it here also, waiting to find out how long till there is a fix, it was only the last update that did it and only to the brick material
jcaffee
The mantra for code fixers everywhere... "No, no, no, don't tug on that. You never know what it might be attached to." (The geeks amongst you should get a chuckle) jon
