Jones_Drafting
Created plan with siding material typical to all exterior walls. Painted siding material with a darker brown to simulate (E)stain. Upper portion of wall which separates interior rooms, but is visible from exterior, will not accept the application of the stain. I'm thinking that it must have something to do with the fact that the program may not be recognizing it as an exterior wall(?) Anybody have a fix? Thanks. Chopsaw
Open the wall and go to the Wall Surface in Materials the select the material and return it to it's default from the top of the list in plan materials or the check box at the bottom of the Library Materials DBX then it should be happy again. Joe_Carrick
Common mistake. Instead of "painting" the siding, edit the Wall Definition so that you have the correct materials (you might want to actually create a new wall type by copying an existing wall type).
