BrownTiger
They think you would use Alt+2104 or past it from wordpad.

Chief doesn't recognize any characters above Alt_0255. We need CA to add Unicode support.
BrownTiger
I think the discussion was about Ruby not compiled with the proper Unicode Support. I believe QtTextEditor control supports unicode by default.
Alaskan_Son
You can drag/drop or paste the aforementioned characters in Rich Text boxes but not standard text boxes and not via Ruby. There are probably registry hacks that will allow direct entry of unicode characters but outside of that I think copy/paste or drag/drop are your best options. You can use Windows Character Map, Word, or a number of other apps as the go between. For what its worth, Chief is far from the only app that has issues with unicode support. It's a common problem in all sorts of apps. I have personally taken to just modifying fonts to add the characters I need. This approach has a few minor downsides but works well for me.

BrownTiger
It works in RichText, but painful. 1) I suggest enable EnableHexNumpad in the registry, so you can use ALT+x 2) Try in the wordpad type: C0<ALT-X>. Result can be pasted into ChiefArchitect rich text field. 3) Here is UTF table with al the values. http://www.utf8-chartable.de/ ---- I agree with what Alaskan_Son said. There is also the suggestion forum here, ask for standard Text fields to support Unicode. ÀÆ
